Facts Are a Stubborn Thing

For the record, the President has consistently said that if you like your insurance plan, your doctor, or both, you will eventually lose them. He has spoken repeatedly about his health care proposals being the first step towards a SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM.

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from controlling the cost of healthcare to the "Valuation of a Statistical Human Life" (VSL) to covering the uninsured.

These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails from the White House, DNC, SEIU or ACORN, mentions by Chris Matthews or Keith Olbermann on MSNBC, call-ins to Air America, or through casual conversation between Obama-files.

Since we can’t keep track of all of them here in "Fly-Over-Country", we’re asking for your help. If you are a disaffected Obama supporter, turned off by by what you hear from the DNC or Democratic politicians or think that SEIU/ACORN/Daily KOS are not serving your country well I would like to hear about how they are trying to get you to "punch back twice as hard".

If you get an email or see something on the web about: The True motive for Health Care Reform, Astroturfing for Town Hall Meetings, or libelous slurs about common Americans (I think Rachel Maddow calls them "teabaggers") that seems fishy, send it to flag.theRealAmerica@gmail.com
